The Mountain Strings classes are our introductory programs for grades 3rd-5th.

Additional Information:
Students must be at least 8 years old to attend. If you have a student that is older than 12, please email Kaleena at 2019kaleenadotson@gmail.com and we can find a fit.
If the class is based at a school, the student must be enrolled at that school. Any student may join the Cathey’s Creek Community Center class.
If the student has an instrument, please bring it. If not, we can provide a loaner instrument for free.
Students may arrive early to tune and warm up. Pickup is immediately at the end of class.

Mountain Strings Intermediate
This is the second level class for more advanced and older students.

Registration 2026-2027
Classes begin the week of September 14th, 2026
Our program year begins in September, but registration is rolling. You may sign up and join our classes at any point throughout the year.
Select either MS Beginner (for 3rd-5th) or MS Intermediate (for advanced/older).
